Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ Nexus Fostering Opens New Office in Chilwell Nottingham

Rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted since 2011, independent fostering agency Nexus Fostering have opened a new office in Chilwell. The East Midlands team hosted an open day to celebrate the opening of the new office on Saturday 25th March. They welcomed their foster carers and children to enjoy an interactive, hands-on encounter with unusual animals from Fudge and Co exotic animal encounters.

Megan- Storyteller & Events Executive from the East Midlands team was at the open day. ' The day was great as our foster carers and children were able to come and have a look at the new office and meet the new members of the team. The animal encounter from Fudge & Co was a great hit with the children of all ages (and adults!). We hope the new office will be a great base for our team, support groups and welcoming for anyone interesting in fostering, to come and have a chat with a member of the team.'

Every year thousands of new foster carers are needed to care for the increasing number of vulnerable children coming into care in the UK. These children need a nurturing adult and a safe place to call home.
